忿愤奋粪

Defending our Country seems like some kind of instinct born with us, but there also has been a misunderstanding between defending the Country and defending the government for a long time. Perhaps that's because our government have done so much to make us believe that we are defending the dignity of our country, while we are actually defending them.

Foreign people always say that we have few human rights here in China, but the most frequently heard responses are some refutation or something worse, silence. We always like to say that they don't even live here; they have no idea of our situation. Few people have enough courage to recognize that we really have so little freedom. People, who realize this, simply ignore it and then get used to it, like I do.
We've got used to those "servers not found" website, while the servers should be found; we have no problem about others telling us whether we should be in one big city or not, while that is none of his or her business; we ignore that all movies and even news should be reviewed and then cut by some bold guy before we see them. 
About rights, perhaps the least right we've got is the right to know.
I can imagine what someone would think right now. Right, every government would put a hand in what their people knowing even the U.S., whose people seems have more freedom than anyone. We all have seen <Prison Break>. But I don't know is that, in how many countries the first rule for journalists and reporters is the "Policy". The first thing you should care about to be a reporter or journalist in China, is don't say anything bad about the "Party", and second the local government, unless the Central Committee requires you to. I have no idea about where the "Truth" should be placed.
Chinese journalists are definitely among the poorest. As the group of people who has the most hunger of truth, but mostly not allowed to dig anything deep, don't even mention showing them to the public.

Actually, we don't usually get all of our opinions from ourselves; we are so easy to be affected by media. Have anyone ever think about that, if there wasn't so much report and news about Koizumi and Yasukuni Shrine, about the history textbook and other things like these, how much hate would leave there? If our government had the same words with the U.S. from beginning, would we probably believe that the U.S. might really bombed our embassy accidentally? I don't wanna mention anymore too sensitive topics like Falung***. On the other hand, would we be as proud as now we do, if we haven't seen that much propaganda about Beijing Olympic? 
Of course, we all know that for sure, that Japanese government is bad, so is the American, Falung***s are evil! But who made us think like that? Most ironic part is, ever since Beijing won the opportunity to hold the Olympic, the most frequently heard word with "Beijing Olympic" in western courtiers might be "boycott". Some community even have a slogan for it- "Freedom first, Olympics second".
Well, most western people also got the idea from their propaganda. They are surrounded by too many news about China's threat. Every time something happen in China or around China, they put out the word "boycott". Nobody can guarantee their news' reality either.
What I mostly concern is not to choose a side to believe, but to focus on the truth, which we can't usually get close to. We don't need to care about what those foreigners try to incitement; most things are truly none of their business. But should we unconditionally believe and support what the "Party” said?
Our government doesn’t have enough courage to show us all the truth. They are too easy to be terrified by their own people. What would happen after people know the truth scares them. They are accustomed to hide. They don’t trust us, they don’t think we are capable to deal with the truth, they concern that, and someone would use the truth, incitement people against them. But hiding only makes the snowball bigger and bigger.

I know this situation won't be change in a while, I said, I already get used to ignore. And I don't write this to warn anyone. I just want to remind myself that I should seriously think about reports I've read, and never simply believe in anything. We are so easy to be controlled.

也许是因为这几天在关注缅甸的骚乱。
国家大了真不好，缅甸出了问题，全世界的眼睛却都要向中国瞟两眼。谁叫中国是缅甸最大的贸易伙伴呢……再据国外报道的说法——中国政府对缅甸政府有着长期的影响，（我有点不敢用“掌控”这个词，或者更有人提到“诸侯国”，虽然我们自己也开玩笑说缅甸像中国的一个省）。不过我们的这个邻居太危险，很多人公认的东南亚的一个炸药桶，不知道中国为什么要找这个如此臭名昭著的，全世界最穷的20个国家之一的邻居去惹一身骚。而且中国这段时间对缅甸暴乱的报道虽然不算太少，但，真的还是挺少的。而且基本上可以很轻易看出中国的报道和国外的（其实我也只在Fox和Washington post看过相关报道）有比较明显的不同的出发点，国外的比较倾向于站在游行的民众这一边说话，中国的大多站在政府这边，也有可能是因为我英语或者中文水平有限才看出这种差异。而且，中国的报道（起码我没有看到）都没有提到游行民众所要求军方释放的昂山素季是诺贝尔和平奖得主。当然，大家都知道诺贝尔和平将在中国也是个敏感的话题。所以当然也有人说中国对西藏的和尚，也不会比缅甸对他们的和尚好到哪里去（这次游行时和尚带领的哈）。

在有一点比较敏感。就是缅甸军方和示威群众僵持了多天都没有开枪，有报道说是迫于中国的压力，因为中国明年将举办奥运会，所以这段时间在国际上一直特别注意形象。然后大多数欧美国家以及联合国安理会都用几乎相同的说法示意缅甸释放昂山素季和平解决冲突的时候，中国的发言人的说法有细微的差别，示意缅甸政府自己的内政不应受到干涉，缅甸政府应该自己妥善处理好这件事。然后，第二天就开枪了。

关于奥运会，说法就热闹了。从北京申办成功开始，国外抵制奥运会的声音就不绝于耳。其实大家都知道，这几乎是不可能的事，我猜想那些人只是想通过不同的方式向中国施压而已。于是这几年，几乎所有和中国有关的事情都可以牵扯到抵制奥运会上面去。其实抵制奥运会就像恐怖分子因为莫名其妙的原因恨美国政府就炸了他们的双子塔一样可笑。

好了，其实我也不是很反动。政治关我们屁事。
